Rev. Michael A. Walrond, Jr., a native of Freeport, NY, attended Morehouse College, in Atlanta, Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Religion. Rev. Walrond went on to attend Duke University School of Divinity, where he earned a Master of Divinity degree and served as University Minister of Duke University and the Director of the African American Campus Ministry.
Rev. Walrond also served as the Pastor of the Zion Temple United Church of Christ in Durham, North Carolina. It was during this time, Reverend Walrond was recognized by Newsweek Magazine as "One of the Lord's Foot Soldiers" for his innovative use of the pulpit to reach at-risk youths. In March 2001, Rev. Walrond was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr. Board of Preachers at Morehouse College as a "Distinguished Preacher."
In July 2004, Rev. Walrond was called to serve as the seventh Senior Pastor of First Corinthian Baptist Church, Harlem, New York. Under his leadership, the First Corinthian family has grown from 350 to over 5000 disciples. This growth has also increased the church’s capacity to engage in more effective ministry and has led to the birth and expansion of more than twenty-eight ministries.
Rev. Walrond is married to the Rev. Dr. LaKeesha Walrond, the Executive Pastor of First Corinthian Baptist Church, and they are the proud parents of two beautiful children, Michael, III and Jasmyn Dominique.

Ryan Mack of Optimum Capital Management in Brooklyn, New York, graduated from the University of Michigan Business School with a concentration in Finance. His career in equity markets began in Detroit, Michigan as a stock trader and later as a trader for the largest NASDAQ trading firm in the nation, Knight Securities. Having a passion for teaching he established his own financial awareness group in 2003 where he began to publish regular newsletters about various financial related issues that were of interest to people from all income levels.
He teaches the principles of understanding the power of financial literacy and the importance of developing a responsible investment plan which leads to financial independence. With a clientele representative of all income levels, through Optimum Capital Management, Mr. Mack continues to teach the merits of sound budget management and smart investing for all people. Nonprofits, churches, government-subsidized housing communities, municipal programs, inner-city organizations, international communities and colleges and universities have benefited from his hands-on approach. He makes regular appearances on television networks such as CNN, CNBC, and BET discussing economic and social issues that impact American citizens and the future of our youth. Most recently, CNN featured Ryan’s youth mentoring program, All About Business: Financial Literacy Programs for Youth.

Rev. Dr. Walter Malone, Jr., a native of Tennessee, attended Fisk University and later Nashville's American Baptist College where he earned his B.A. in Theology. He received his Masters Degree in Religious studies at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and received his Doctorate of Ministry from the United Theological Seminary. Dr. Malone is the founder and pastor of one of the fastest growing churches in Kentucky - Canaan Missionary Baptist Church - now Canaan Christian Church. Under his leadership, the congregation has grown from 97 members to over 4,000 disciples.
As an ardent fiduciary, Dr. Malone oversees Canaan's Community Development Corporation (CCDC), a non-profit organization that is involved in housing development, job training, computer literacy, GED literacy and various educational programs. Additionally, he oversees the Son's of Issachar, Canaan's After-School Enrichment Program, which offers constructive recreation, tutoring, and special activities for the physical, mental and emotional development of children in the Louisville community.
Dr. Malone is also an author of two books. The first, entitled "An Operative Faith for an Oppressed People," is a collection of sermons about how Christian faith is nurtured in the lives of people who are oppressed by sin. His second book, "From Holy Power to Holy Profits," deals with the responsibility of the church to engage in community development. Dr. Malone, a devoted husband and loving father, lives in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Sandra, Minister of Counseling at Canaan.

Rev. Jeffrey Johnson, Sr. received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Religion from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas, graduating with honors. He also attended Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana, and has received Honorary Doctorates of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian College, Simmons College, Martin University, and Paul Quinn College. As pastor since 1988 of Eastern Star, one of the largest Black churches in Indiana, Pastor Johnson leads a ministry that shepherds over 10,000 members.
The ministry now meets at three worship facilities where its JEWEL Ministry is an abbreviated version of the church motto: "Where Jesus is Exalted, and the Word is ExpLained." The success of Eastern Star Church is attributed to the biblical principal of sowing and reaping and giving back 10% of its annual budget to the to the community. The ministry oversees JEWEL Childcare/Preschool ministry, JEWEL Christian Academy, two JEWEL Bible Bookstores, a full service gym and fitness center, JEWEL Cafe, and a multi-purpose conference center which facilitates Christian education for adults and youth Sunday Church School and JEWEL Bible Institute. In addition to weekly services, JEWEL Ministry is the Media ministry of Eastern Star Church which is comprised of Radio and Television, Audio, Video and Prayer Partner ministries. With all efforts combined, JEWEL Ministry reaches more than one-million people throughout Indiana.
Pastor Johnson is the author of three books - "The Song of Solomon, Love, Sex and Relationships," "Making a Comeback: Reclaiming our Lives in Christ," and "Life Illustrated: Daily Thoughts for your Daily Walk," a 365-day devotional. A devoted husband and dedicated family man, Pastor Johnson is married to Sharon Henry Johnson and is the loving father of four sons, Jeffrey Allen, II, Jordan Adam, Jalon Alexander and Josiah Andrew.

Rev. Dr. Freddy Haynes, III, a native of San Francisco, California, Dr. Haynes is the third in a line of well-known, socially conscious preachers. He graduated from Bishop College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and English. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and pursued graduate studies at Oxford University in Oxford, England. In 2005, he earned a Doctor of Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Dr. Haynes also holds Honorary Doctorates of Divinity from Paul Quinn College and Texas College.
For twenty-six years Dr. Haynes, serving as senior pastor of Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, has innovatively led and grown the ministry from 500 members to over 12,000. Dr. Haynes is the author of "Healing our Broken Village," which addresses the issue of healing by confronting the internal struggles that incarcerate us emotionally and socially. He is also the author of "Soul Fitness," an inspiring and encouraging daily devotional.
On Sunday, March 1, 2009, Dr. Haynes launched a 2-hour weekly radio show, Freddy Haynes Unscripted, edutainment radio for community empowerment on Radio One's 94.5 K-Soul FM in Dallas, TX. Freddy Haynes Unscripted debuted in at number during the first week on the air. His out-of-the-box approach to ministry reaches across generations, class and ethnicities, providing a relevant and functional truth that can be applied to everyday life. Dr. Haynes is married to Debra Peek-Haynes, and they are parents of one beautiful daughter, Abeni Jewel Haynes.
