Baptism and Holy Communion will be observed this evening at the 6:00 P.M. Vesper Hour.
Canaan Administrative Office and Canaan Credit Union are closed tomorrow in observance of the July 4th holiday.
July the Fourth is the date set aside each year for our Nation's celebration of freedom. True freedom is in Jesus Christ whose shed blood and broken body paid the price for our redemption.
The 3rd Annual Session of the Fellowship Baptist District Association will be held July1\0-15 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 808 E. Bradley, Champaign. The Session opens with a District Musical on Sunday, July 10, at 6:00 P.M., and closes with a Banquet of Elegance July 15 at the Hawthorn Suites.

Canaan Academy's Summer Enrichment Program for Pre-K through grade 5 is in session through July 22, 2011. The Program consists of academics from 8 A.M. to 12 Noon, and Camp from 1-4 P.M.,

Pastor Tatum's current expository preaching series is from the Book of Hebrews. What a mighty Word! This book exhorts the believer with a word of encouragement, and exalts the Lord Jesus Christ with praise, glory, and honor. In the midst of difficulties, Don't Quit! Let us go on to maturity (cf. Hebrews 6: 1).
